Affiliation with a prestigious organization is no guarantee that a person is correct or well-informed on every issue, or understands the proper solution to a local political issue better than the neighborhood residents themselves. (Now who's being an elitist?) Moreover, since the FFE material you cite appears more concerned with obscenity prosecutions and other extreme forms of censorship, it's not obvious that all these women would be opposed to every form of adult-use zoning.
